There's plenty of parking at the nearest mall and we wouldn't have to fight for parking at the actual site. Or, I suppose, they could change venues to a place where there is more parking available, and maybe a bigger site, so it wouldn't seem so crowded inside (though I don't know that it was that crowded since I never went in. I could only surmise based on the number of vehicles outside).Laura Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00874889561929236906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5201499384040045485.post-465288745050255532013-06-10T08:13:33.329-07:002013-06-10T08:13:33.329-07:00One of my colleagues at work has a red Sierra. Not much maneuvering room there.
I can relate to the struggles of parking your truck in the suburbs - not something I even like to think about. Fortunately, I live in a small town with a double wide driveway - and I can even get the truck into the garage!
I was never much good at parallel parking at the best of times. I've just basically given it up since buying the truck.
I wish I could afford something small and economical like your Cube in addition to my truck, but I'd never want to have to replace the truck with it. Hated parking it in the suburbs and with a baby seat - it was awkward at best. Sigh. Out went the pickup - in came the mom van...(of course, I now drive a teeny Nissan Cube that I LOVE!!)

Maybe next time you'll have better luck and make it IN to the quilt show!Jackie Kirnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09324574219943567613noreply@blogger.com
